Our Mission

 

Our purpose at Water in Motion is to provide the most energy and cost effiecient water treatment program for our customer. We help can help you get rebates from the state of California for upgrading your chemical controller, and help to see if you qualify for rebates for LADWP customers. We are here to help solve your system problems caused by poor water treatment. With a proven alkalinity control program and site-specific analysis, we implement an automated system that saves in operating costs and protects your machinery. We utilize blended chemicals which inhibit corrosion and eliminate scaling from your valuable equipment. Customers have seen cleaner tube sheets and improved approached temperatures within months of changing to our program. We also offer cooling tower cleanings, which are recommended during winter months.

In 2025, the International Jewelry Center in Downtown LA changed their cooling tower system to an alkalinity control program, which saved them over 300,000 gallons of water. They were the 2nd biggest water savers this year in the LADWP region.

Water in Motion is uses with a 3rd party laboratory, providing CDC approved Legionella testing and Microbiological testing. Neglience or price cuts in biocide treatment can result in harmful, or deadly Legionella bacterial growth. Improper management of microbiological growth can result in reduced efficiency in heat transfer systems, corrosion, health risks for people exposed, as well as an increase in operational cost. We also provide this service for a fee to non-customers to help protect the site employees and general public.
